The automated installation of complete OSs by the DeskCenter® Management Suite saves time for the IT department and sets resources free. Furthermore, the deployment module integrates itself seamlessly into the Suite’s existing Client and Server Management. The interplay with the Software Delivery module equips your client or server systems completely from the OS's to applications.
Functions Overview
In detail, the OS Deployment client licence contains the following functions:
- Integrated and fully automated deployment of OSs
- Support for Microsoft® Windows™ NT, Windows™ 2000, Windows™ Server NT/2000/2003/2008, Windows™ XP, Windows™ Vista (all versions)
- Installation of OSs and imaging
- Management of installation keys and activation keys using MAC addresses
- Fully integrated configuration of unattended files and drivers support
- Deployment using CD/DVD, USB memory, ISO image, integrated PXE server or alternative TFTP/DHCP/PXE server
The advantages of the solution are a reduced number of installation errors, minimal manual processes, which help reduce the costs to an IT department.
